Multi currencies
CRM-Express Professional can handle multi currencies.
To use multi currencies you have to do the following.
1. Setting your base currency
The base currency is the currency in which you want your reporting done. It is usually the
currency you use in your home country but not always.
To set your base currency, to the following
· From the Main Tab, select Options on the Ribbon bar
· Select Base Currency from the left menu on the Dialog
· Select your base currency
2. Set your default exchange rates
The default exchange rates are the rates which CRM-Express will recommend when you enter
the invoice details.
To set the default exchange rates, do the following
· Click on the Maintain Lists menu option just below the ribbon
· Click on Currency Information
· Enter the exchange rates relative to your base currency
3. Using multi currencies in invoicing
To use multi currencies in invoices, do the following
· Click on the Order Desk tab on the ribbon
· Click on New to start a new invoice
· Select a contact and click on OK
· In the Exchange Rate box, click on the dropdown (1) to select the exchange rate code
for the invoice.
· If the exchange rate that is displayed is not the current rate, change it in (2)
below
Now you can enter your invoice details.
IMPORTANT: Prices on and discounts are always entered and reported on in
the local currency.
You can see what the invoice amounts will be in Foreign Currency by clicking on the Foreign
Currency button on the Ribbon
